The queue times for the Diablo 4 open beta appear to be shorter than they were during the beta that took place the weekend before; however, this is something that could easily change in the near future. Players have reported that the queue times for the open beta are shorter. The highly anticipated open beta for the action role-playing game has finally begun, and developer Blizzard has already warned players that they should be prepared for the possibility of lengthy queue times, server outages, and other types of technical issues. Diablo 4 players who logged on early on Friday were pleasantly surprised to find significantly shorter queue times compared to what they had been in the previous few days. The early access beta was made available to players on March 17, putting Blizzard in a difficult position. Players were able to access the beta on that day. Not only did the wait times for the early access beta of Diablo 4 balloon to more than two to three hours on both PC and console, but players who made it through the queue frequently experienced disconnection and were forced to restart their wait. The wait times for the early access beta of Diablo 4 also ballooned to more than two to three hours on PC.

However, Blizzard was able to devise a solution in a reasonable amount of time

1.  By the time Friday evening rolled around, the wait times had significantly decreased, and by the time the weekend was over, they were almost never noticeable at all

2.  Since that time, however, there has been cause for concern regarding the prospect of a significant increase in the number of players participating in the open beta for Diablo 4

3.  It would appear that the disastrous open beta launch that some Diablo fans were anticipating did not actually take place

4.  The wait times for Diablo 4 have been noticeably lower compared to those seen for the early access beta

5.  This is despite the fact that there is a queue for the game

6.  The peak wait time for early access to the beta was approximately two to three hours, whereas the peak wait time for the open beta was approximately sixty to seventy-five minutes

7.  Although it is possible that the worst has been avoided, another surge is certainly possible as Diablo fans finish their work

8.  This is despite the fact that it is possible that the worst has been avoided

Even the wait times for Diablo 4 have started getting significantly shorter as of late. After reaching a high of roughly sixty minutes on PC, the waiting time began to drop to somewhere closer to thirty minutes a little more than an hour after the open betas began. This marked a significant decrease from its previous peak of approximately sixty minutes. After that, wait times did go up, but they have since leveled off somewhere between 40 and 50 minutes, and this was only two hours after the open beta was made available to the general public. It's possible that this is the result of a hotfix that was implemented in the early access beta being carried over to the open beta and making improvements there. On the other hand, it is challenging to speculate as to whether or not that total will shift over the course of the weekend. Even though there have been a lot of improvements made to the queue system, the open beta for Diablo 4 still has some issues that need to be worked out. Players are reporting that their skill bars have been removed, the game has unexpectedly crashed (with the error 316719), they have been disconnected, and there are ongoing issues with Diablo 4's use of RAM on PC.

Players are also reporting that these issues have occurred. The game also contains a large number of strange bugs, such as druid transformations that change players into monstrosities with bizarre appearances. While Diablo 4 is still in the beta testing phase, Blizzard will compile player feedback in an effort to get the game ready for release as soon as possible. Even though it is impossible to predict how changes to queue times will occur in the future, one thing that can be safely gleaned from the situation is that Blizzard has made clear improvements to Diablo 4 even since the early access beta. This is something that can be safely gleaned from the situation. The possibility exists that wait times will soon significantly increase, in which case this is an entirely undeserved compliment; however, players who are currently taking part in the open beta for Diablo 4 will certainly hope that this will not be the case. Be on the lookout for additional updates as they become accessible; Blizzard plans to continue working through the weekend to fix whatever issues it can with Diablo 4, so make sure to stay tuned for those.
